From Market Town to Modern Living: Our Journey
Our story began in 2017 with a charming physical store in Stanton, offering an eclectic range of beautiful home interiors and gifts. By July 2019, we had found our true home in the historic Chameleon House in Harleston. This larger, beautiful space evolved into more than just a shop; it became a destination, expanding to include a fully-licensed, gourmet coffee bar featuring mouthwatering, locally sourced treats.
It was a sanctuary for creativity, conversation, and beautiful living.
Along with many small businesses, Covid forced our closure, and whilst the physical doors sadly closed in 2020, our mission to inspire a well-lived home did not.
We transitioned to an exclusive online store, focusing on the goods our customers loved most: premium lifestyle accessories and our signature chalk paint - which will be reintroduced into our range, in early 2026. Made locally in Suffolk, we are thrilled to be able to support and collaborate with other small UK businesses, and strongly believe this is crucial to keeping Independents alive.
Today, our furniture and home furnishings are all carefully hand-selected with a simple, personal rule: if we wouldn’t proudly have it in our own homes, we won’t sell it in our store. You’ll often see these pieces photographed right here in our living space, offering you an authentic look at how we curate our home, and giving you an honest glimpse into how they could fit perfectly into yours.
Our Signature Chalk Paint: Made with Pride
The foundation of our creative range is our signature chalk paint, first introduced in 2017. Today, it features 14 gorgeous, expertly chosen colours, alongside the finishing coats and waxes you need to complete your look.
We are incredibly proud of its origins. Our paint is produced in collaboration with a respected paint studio just down the road from us in Suffolk. This local partnership ensures every tin is crafted with exceptional care and quality, guaranteeing the beautiful, velvety finish your furniture deserves.
